Taking the Foundation year has been an astonishing, valuable experience. Before I started I asked "Can I fit this in on top of my work and home life?" and now I ask myself how I can fit work and home in-after Sound Circle, that is. ..When I think of my inner life, I think of Sound Circle has having peeled off layers. I feel like I can perceive things better about myself and others. I think before this program I spent a lot of mental time distracting myself, being caught up in the drama of things but not facing them squarely. I think I'm better able to do that now. It's hard to describe the many ways this course has already affected my inner life. In the area of the arts, it's been an enjoyable journey back to the expressive side of myself... Most of the time, I just feel that doing the Foundation year in addition to the rest of my life simply makes me overly blessed rather than overly busy. I appreciate how do-able Sound Circle is, and what work we have to do at home is a joy, not a chore. The occasional weekends off do help restore a little balance.- Kathy S
